About the Role
The Senior SCADA Controls Engineer will assist the SCADA Group Leader in designing control and integration solutions, troubleshoot and field‑test SCADA panels, and execute SCADA projects that include PLC/SCADA programming and database configuration. The position may require travel, including potential international trips, to job sites. • Assist SCADA Group Leader in developing control and integration solutions. • Troubleshoot and field‑test SCADA panels. • Execute PLC/SCADA programming and database configuration for project implementation.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in electrical, control systems, or a related engineering discipline and have at least seven years of industry experience, preferably in renewable energy. Required knowledge includes industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3.0, Ethernet/IP), networking, IEC 61131 programming languages, and experience with SCADA platforms such as GE Cimplicity, Wonderware, or Ignition. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and multitasking abilities are essential, and travel up to 30 % is expected. • Travel up to 30 % (including possible international sites) for field work. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Control Systems Engineering, or related field. • Minimum 7 years of industry experience, preferably in renewable energy. • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (Modbus RTU/TCP, DNP3.0, Ethernet/IP). • Experience with IEC 61131 programming languages and SCADA platforms (e.g., GE Cimplicity, Wonderware, Ignition). • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and deliver quality results on time. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for reporting at all organizational levels. • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
