About the Role
The Systems Engineer & Process SME will serve as a Systems Engineer Technical Advisor (SETA) supporting a government customer to plan and execute intelligence‑gathering missions from overhead platforms and transform collected data into actionable information for the Intelligence Community and DoD. The role involves close coordination with architects, SPOs, and multiple directorates to ensure strategic alignment and effective delivery of mission‑critical capabilities. • Recommend improvements to System Engineering processes. • Update, coordinate, and communicate strategic plans as needed. • Participate in government and contractor technical exchange meetings, Independent Review Teams, and program reviews. • Engage in architecture planning with the Chief Architect, SPOs, and the Systems Engineering Directorate. • Monitor technical and strategic decisions from other directorates that may impact programs. • Prepare government representatives for enterprise and community forums covering architecture, configuration, risk, readiness, schedule, transition, and verification & testing. • Review and develop responses to technical and strategic actions with the Director’s Action Group and SPOs. • Support outreach activities including presentation development, scheduling, note taking, and task tracking. • Advise on acquisition strategies and source selections as directed.

What You Bring
• BS/BA in Engineering, Math, or Physics with 10+ years of experience. • Experience working with Intelligence Community and/or DoD programs. • Proven ability to interact with senior executives, write correspondence or white papers, develop executive briefings, and participate in executive‑level meetings. • Knowledge of the Systems Engineering process. • Experience with Model‑Based Systems Engineering. • Familiarity with SIGINT and GEOINT systems. • Background in configuration and risk management within systems engineering. • Proficiency with Confluence, JIRA, G‑Forge, and J‑SMART tools. • Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
