About the Role
The Project Director – Commercial Interior Fit‑Out Projects is a senior leadership role within JLL Project and Development Services in Mumbai. This position oversees the delivery of high‑value interior fit‑out projects for multinational corporations, Indian enterprises, and institutional clients. The director is accountable for schedule performance, budget adherence, quality standards, and client satisfaction across multiple concurrent engagements. • Direct end‑to‑end delivery of 3‑4 concurrent commercial interior fit‑out projects, ensuring schedule, budget, quality, and client satisfaction. • Serve as primary relationship owner for strategic corporate accounts, leading visioning sessions, design charrettes, progress reviews, and executive presentations. • Lead, mentor, and develop multidisciplinary teams, establishing performance metrics and fostering a collaborative, innovative culture. • Drive new business acquisition through proposal leadership, market positioning, and collaboration with tenant representation and corporate solutions teams. • Implement standardized project delivery methodologies covering design coordination, procurement, construction sequencing, quality control, and commissioning. • Maintain P&L responsibility, manage revenue targets, cost control, margin optimization, contract negotiations, and change order processes. • Establish comprehensive quality and risk management systems to ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and client requirements.
