Performs preventive maintenance and basic repairs on diesel and non‑diesel vehicles.

About the Role
Key duties include conducting vehicle PM inspections, performing adjustments, replenishing fluids, changing tires, and handling basic electrical tasks such as replacing lights. The technician also performs visual inspections to detect potential issues and uses a variety of tools to pinpoint malfunctions. Completion of required company training programs and other job‑related tasks as assigned are also expected. • Perform preventive maintenance on diesel and non‑diesel equipment and trucks. • Conduct vehicle PM inspections, oil changes, fluid replenishment, tire changes, and basic electrical work. • Perform visual inspections to identify equipment issues and diagnose malfunctions. • Complete required company training programs and any additional job‑related duties.

What You Bring
Under the guidance of a Lead Technician, Maintenance Supervisor, or Maintenance Manager, a Maintenance Technician C performs preventive maintenance on diesel and non‑diesel equipment and trucks. The role requires a basic understanding of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems to carry out routine inspections, oil changes, tire swaps and light electrical repairs. Employees enjoy working on a single fleet equipped with state‑of‑the‑art technology while supporting drivers on their routes. Qualifications include a basic knowledge of vehicle systems; completion of a certified diesel maintenance program is a plus but not required. ASE certification and a valid driver’s license are preferred, though not mandatory. • Basic knowledge of mechanical and electrical vehicle systems; diesel maintenance program completion is a plus. • ASE certification (preferred) and a valid driver’s license (preferred).
