About the Role

The role involves managing customer contracts through preventative maintenance visits, delivering detailed reports, and providing on‑site remedial support. You will ensure systems are updated with the latest software, quick fixes, and hardware, and you will prepare and present upgrade plans to customers. Responsibilities also include following Global Service technical procedures, reviewing client orders, analyzing technical risks for expansions and upgrades, and supporting sales to secure orders and service agreements. Additionally, you will enforce Schneider Electric contractual obligations, manage technical aspects of projects, conduct system and factory acceptance testing, and coordinate documentation and factory issue resolution. • Perform preventative maintenance visits and deliver on‑site reports. • Update customer systems with latest software, quick fixes, and hardware. • Develop and present upgrade plans for customer systems. • Follow Global Service technical procedures and tools. • Review client orders and proposals for technical accuracy. • Analyze technical risks for expansion projects and upgrades. • Attend training on systems, instruments, process control, communication, and safety. • Support sales efforts to secure orders and service agreements. • Enforce Schneider Electric contractual obligations on major projects. • Manage technical aspects of projects including specification, testing, and commissioning. • Conduct system and factory acceptance testing and prepare test documentation. • Prepare documentation for customer approval according to schedule. • Coordinate with factories to resolve product‑related issues.

What You Bring

Travel up to 50% to customer sites is required, primarily within a 1–2 hour radius of local locations. The position demands strong technical knowledge, including Microsoft Office, Windows and Unix operating systems, DCS, safety systems, PLCs, communication protocols, networking, and system security. Successful candidates typically hold a degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or Process Control and have 5–10 years of experience with Triconex and Foxboro IA systems. Required skills include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware and software, familiarity with Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Chemical industry products, and proficiency in HMI, DCS, field instrumentation, Foxboro, and Wonderware. Strong analytical, logical, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities, combined with leadership, communication, and team‑player qualities, are essential, as is the willingness to travel as needed. • Hold an Engineering, Engineering Technology, Computer Science or Process Control degree (preferred). • Possess 5–10 years experience with Triconex and Foxboro IA automation systems. • Ability to install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software. • Knowledge of Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Chemical industry products and services. • Proficiency with HMI, DCS, field instrumentation, Foxboro, and Wonderware. • Strong analytical, logical, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. • Effective leadership, communication, and team‑player abilities. • Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites.
