About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports the property’s maintenance program, handling corrective, preventative, routine, emergency, and cosmetic tasks, as well as the make‑ready process, under the supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager. • Attend the property daily and respond promptly to resident and management work orders for common areas, buildings, and units. • Perform corrective, preventive, routine, emergency, and cosmetic maintenance, including swimming pool upkeep and chemical logging. • Assist with make‑ready tasks, schedule and execute turn‑over repairs, and support unit inspections. • Maintain exterior grounds, breezeways, and common areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety. • Organize and stock the maintenance shop while adhering to OSHA safety standards and hazard communication programs. • Track service requests, preventive‑maintenance activities, EPA/OSHA compliance, and make‑ready status in accurate records. • Deliver excellent customer service, monitor request turnaround times, and enforce community policies. • Participate in on‑call emergency response and support the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager as needed.

What You Bring
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and knowledge of Fair Housing and OSHA regulations. The role requires frequent physical activity, ladder use, lifting up to 100 lb, and the ability to work overtime, weekends, and on‑call emergencies. Reliable transportation is required, and compensation ranges from $22 to $24 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package.
