About the Role
The role is for a PMO Analyst who will provide portfolio reporting and analysis on agreed KPIs across the portfolio, ensuring a consistent and standardized approach to project delivery. The analyst will drive governance and quality assurance across IT delivery within the organisation. • Monitor, report, and analyse project progress against time, cost, and quality, providing early warnings of variances. • Manage financial aspects including tracking, reporting, purchase orders, invoices, and financial system updates. • Oversee RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) for programmes and projects, engaging with teams regularly. • Escalate key issues to Senior PMO Analyst and management as needed. • Review and quality‑assure project change requests. • Support resource demand management, tracking assignments and identifying conflicts or shortfalls. • Contribute to the development and improvement of the project framework, processes, standards, and templates. • Administer PMO tools such as Enterprise 1 (Planview PPM) and perform regular quality assessments. • Facilitate post‑project reviews, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement. • Produce portfolio‑level reporting and analytics to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities. • Build effective relationships with digital programme and project stakeholders.

What You Bring
Candidates should bring strong knowledge of PMO and project management tools, an understanding of programme and portfolio management, and experience delivering PMO services. Relevant qualifications such as PRINCE2, APM or MoP are desirable, along with a proven track record in project change control and quality assurance. • Experience with PMO and project management tools; knowledge of Prince2, Agile, APM, MoP. • Proven experience delivering PMO services and project change control/quality assurance. • Ability to identify trends and slippage within projects. • Experience across the full delivery lifecycle and use of project management techniques. • Relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APM, MoP). • Demonstrated experience in a PMO or project support role. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills. • Ability to manage resource demand, recognise opportunities and risks. • Financial management experience including tracking, reporting, PO and invoicing. • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement at all levels. • Ability to work in a high‑demand environment handling multiple priorities.
