About the Role

The role involves operating and programming automated crushing and screening equipment at the quarry, visually monitoring gauges and equipment to maintain proper material flow on belts, crushers and screens, and maintaining strong communication with plant personnel to ensure an efficient and safe workflow from quarry to crusher. The operator also identifies the appropriate material to produce quality aggregate per job specifications and works with quality control to adjust material blends as needed. • Operate and program automated crushing and screening equipment. • Monitor gauges and equipment to maintain proper material flow. • Communicate with plant staff to ensure efficient and safe workflow. • Identify material needed to meet job specifications. • Adjust material blends in coordination with quality control.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, with two years of prior experience in the aggregate industry preferred. Experience in aggregate plant operation, maintenance, and operating mobile equipment such as haul trucks or skid steers is considered a plus. Applicants must be highly dependable, able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, and capable of passing a pre‑employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. The position requires successful completion of a post‑offer pre‑employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screening, and background check. Some roles may involve FMCSA‑regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Compensation ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour.
