About the Role

Responsible for assisting other craft workers in physical labor on jobsites while maintaining a clean, safe and efficient construction site and supporting the overall project. • Promote and comply with company safety policies and procedures. • Complete all required safety documentation. • Signal equipment operators to align, move, and adjust machinery for loading and unloading. • Level earth to fine‑grade specifications using shovel or hand tools. • Mix concrete or grout with a portable mixer. • Position, join, align, and connect pumps, motors, and other mechanical parts. • Apply paints or bituminous compounds to surfaces for protection. • Spray water, sand, steam, vinyl, paint, or stucco to clean, coat, or seal surfaces. • Apply caulking compounds by hand or with a caulking gun to seal crevices. • Grind, sand, or polish concrete and steel using abrasive tools or machines. • Perform hand and tool tasks such as torqueing bolts, assembling metal parts, building bolt cages, vibrating concrete, sawing lumber, dismantling forms, and demolition. • Provide site assistance as needed. • Care for and maintain assigned tools. • Perform physical labor on construction sites. • Travel to different jobsites on short notice as required.

What You Bring

The position requires a high school diploma or GED and six to twelve months of construction experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Candidates must follow safety policies, read and interpret safety documents, perform basic arithmetic with measurements, understand force and torque, follow written or oral instructions, and work to precise standards. • Smooth and finish freshly poured concrete using float, trowel, or screed.
