About the Role

The Senior Consultant, Learning operates in a corporate setting, providing strategic direction, planning, leadership, coaching, and overall management of large‑scale learning initiatives for an assigned organization within WM. The role partners with senior‑level clients to identify training needs, designs learning solutions, coordinates implementation—including delivery and change‑management components—and measures solution effectiveness for senior management. Key duties include becoming familiar with client business objectives and culture, performing needs assessments and root‑cause analysis, designing curricula and various training materials (storyboards, guides, presentations, videos, e‑learning modules, job aids), and managing multiple projects with advanced project‑management tasks such as SOW preparation, budgeting, risk and resource planning. The consultant also implements change‑management plans, conducts post‑training analysis to evaluate ROI, generates performance reports, builds relationships with internal clients and subject‑matter experts, delivers classroom or virtual sessions, and mentors team members. • Partner with senior leaders to identify and prioritize organizational training needs. • Conduct needs assessments, root‑cause analysis, and design learning solutions aligned with business goals. • Develop curricula and training materials such as storyboards, guides, presentations, videos, e‑learning modules, and job aids. • Manage full project lifecycle, including statements of work, budgets, schedules, risk plans, and team communications. • Implement change‑management plans with stakeholder communication and evaluation metrics. • Facilitate both classroom and virtual training sessions and gather post‑implementation feedback. • Perform post‑training analysis to determine effectiveness, ROI, and generate impact reports for stakeholders. • Mentor, coach, and lead high‑performance work teams throughout learning initiatives.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a related field, a high school diploma or GED plus four years of relevant experience, and at least seven years of work experience including leadership of a high‑performance team. Preferred qualifications include experience building systematic change programs, applying AI‑driven instructional design, assessing and measuring training impact, and partnering with business leaders to translate objectives into effective learning programs. The position is primarily office‑based with a hybrid schedule (Monday‑Thursday on‑site in Windsor, CT; Friday remote) and requires standard office equipment. Travel may be required, and candidates must have or be willing to obtain a REAL ID for air travel or access to federal property. • Required: Bachelor’s degree in HR/IO Psychology or related field and 7+ years of experience, including team leadership. • Preferred: Experience in systematic change programs, AI‑driven instructional design, and partnering with business leaders to translate objectives into learning.
