About the Role

In this role you will develop construction documents and perform engineering calculations for federal, state, municipal, and commercial clients. Typical tasks include creating paving and dimensional control plans, conducting storm‑water system calculations and producing the associated plans and profiles, and producing overall and detailed grading plans. Additional duties involve completing specific portions of larger assignments, applying standard practices, collecting and reconciling data, and identifying discrepancies. You will become familiar with city design criteria, follow the Project Engineer’s scope and schedule, and use AutoCAD Civil 3D to generate grading, plan, and profile outputs while addressing mark‑ups. • Develop construction documents and engineering calculations for federal, state, municipal, and commercial projects. • Produce paving and dimensional control plans. • Perform stormwater system calculations and generate associated plans and profiles. • Create overall and detailed grading plans. • Complete specific portions of larger assignments and apply standard engineering practices. • Collect, adjust, and reconcile project data, identifying discrepancies. • Learn and apply city design criteria and standards. • Manage project tasks within the scope and schedule set by the Project Engineer. • Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading, plan, and profile production and address mark‑ups.

What You Bring

Qualifications include at least five years of site‑civil design experience, a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field, and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. • Minimum 5 years of site‑civil design experience. • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field. • Hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license.
