About the Role
Based in Perth, you will help build the team, mentor colleagues, and explore opportunities across GHD’s five sectors: Water, Transportation, Property & Buildings, Environment, and Energy & Resources. You will work closely with clients to manage risk and prepare communities for change, leveraging GHD’s global expertise and collaborative approach. Our approach is to lead the right conversations at the right time, designing activities that foster open dialogue, collaboration, motivation, information, and education. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing stakeholder and community engagement strategies, leading complex client projects, building trusted client relationships, delivering high‑quality engagement and communication outputs, identifying new business opportunities, contributing to high‑performing teams, and supporting GHD’s strategic direction. • Develop and implement stakeholder and community engagement strategies and plans. • Lead and collaborate on complex client projects. • Build and strengthen trusted client relationships, including new growth areas. • Deliver high‑quality engagement and communication outputs, providing feedback to improve outcomes. • Identify new business opportunities and convert them into proposals. • Contribute to high‑performing teams and drive delivery excellence. • Support GHD’s strategic direction. • Produce high‑quality written content for diverse audiences and mediums.

What You Bring
We are seeking a talented Senior Consultant – Engagement and Communication to lead engagement initiatives on complex infrastructure, environmental, and energy projects. The role joins GHD’s fast‑growing engagement services area, collaborating with consultants across APAC to deliver lasting community benefit. The ideal candidate holds a degree in Social Science, Communications, Commerce or equivalent experience, has a strong client‑service focus, excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities, superb writing skills for varied audiences, strong interpersonal skills, the ability to work independently, and sound judgement. • Hold a degree in Social Science, Communications, Commerce or equivalent experience. • Demonstrate strong client‑service focus and delivery orientation. • Exhibit strong organisational, problem‑solving and interpersonal skills. • Work independently with sound judgement and decisiveness.
