About the Role
The Property Manager for Multifamily at The Retreat, a Cushman & Wakefield portfolio, is charged with maintaining the community to a market‑ready standard while delivering high‑level service to residents and prospects. In a fast‑paced environment the manager oversees all aspects of property operations—including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, forecasting, collections, evictions, marketing, lease renewals, service contracts, expense control, and audits—and ensures that lease and renewal paperwork meets company standards. The role also emphasizes superior customer service to enhance satisfaction, renewals, revenue, reputation, and profitability, while tracking advertising effectiveness and managing resident files in compliance with company policies. A key component is developing, mentoring, and leading a cohesive on‑site team of leasing, customer service, maintenance, and management personnel, driving engagement, minimizing turnover, and achieving leasing and marketing goals through creative competitive‑analysis‑based programs. • Oversee all property operations including maintenance, capital improvements, lease administration, budgeting, collections, and evictions. • Deliver superior customer service to residents and prospects to boost satisfaction, renewals, and revenue. • Complete lease and renewal paperwork per company standards and track advertising performance. • Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a high‑performing on‑site team across leasing, service, and maintenance functions. • Develop and execute creative marketing programs based on competitive analysis. • Manage community budgets, financial reporting, and expense controls. • Ensure compliance with Cushman & Wakefield policies, service contracts, and audit requirements. • Resolve resident conflicts promptly and maintain a positive living environment. • Maintain resident files and documentation according to company standards. • Collaborate with leasing staff to meet leasing and marketing goals.
