About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck and provides prompt, courteous waste removal services. The driver must keep the vehicle in compliance with company safety standards, follow all state and federal regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, operating manual or automatic controls to load, compact, and transport refuse, and following route sheets to service each customer. Drivers interact professionally with customers and dispatchers, tag and report unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for violations, and clean spills according to safety policies. Drivers also maintain vehicle readiness by cleaning waste from the packer blade and truck body, complete required productivity and reporting paperwork, and adhere to productivity standards while participating in the Company’s ReSOP safety program. • Conduct complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate a heavy collection truck along assigned routes, loading, compacting, and delivering waste to disposal sites. • Interact courteously with customers and dispatchers, ensuring timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers and monitor waste for violations. • Clean accidental spills and maintain vehicle cleanliness to minimize downtime. • Complete route sheets, productivity logs, and daily vehicle condition reports. • Adhere to all safety policies, participate in the ReSOP program, and meet productivity standards.

What You Bring
