About the Role

The Manager, Operations supervises an operations support staff—including work execution supervisors, clearance and tagging group, Fix‑It‑Now (FIN) group, and outage Senior Reactor Operator (SRO) planner—to ensure high performance in plant operations. The role manages operational programs, department procedures, and collaborates with site counterparts and industry peers for continuous improvement. • Supervise work execution supervisors, clearance/tagging team, FIN group, and outage SRO planner. • Ensure scheduled work complies with Technical Specifications and regulatory limits. • Direct planning support staff for operations scheduling and clearance/tagging for maintenance and outages. • Prioritize daily, outage, and emergent work through the work control process. • Oversee FIN group to align priorities with operational needs. • Assess plant operations effectiveness periodically. • Support outage SRO planner and respond to emergency, call‑out, and departmental coverage duties. • Maintain required access clearances and pass necessary medical examinations.

What You Bring

Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree with six years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of senior reactor operator licensure, associate’s degree, or high school diploma with appropriate experience, plus supervisory experience and required access clearances. Preferred qualifications include a current Senior Reactor Operator license and knowledge of procedure writing and the Capco process. • Preferred: hold a current Senior Reactor Operator license and possess procedure‑writing/Capco expertise.
