About the Role

The role involves assessing leaks, blockages, and malfunctions in the Murchison Water and Wastewater systems and treatment plants, including setting up emergency generators on time. It also includes assisting with repairs and performing routine maintenance on 3 Waters assets, all in accordance with contract requirements and Downer’s procedures. Additional tasks in the region may be required as needed. • Provide all tools of trade and personal protective equipment needed for the job • Assess leaks, blockages, and malfunctions in water and wastewater systems and treatment plants • Set up emergency generators promptly • Assist with repairs and perform routine maintenance on 3 Waters assets • Follow contract requirements and Downer’s procedures

What You Bring

• Qualification or experience operating water and drainage treatment and reticulation systems (beneficial) • Knowledge of urban and rural water supply and drainage reticulation systems (advantageous) • Experience using weed whackers and push mowers • Demonstrate technical literacy (mandatory) • Hold a full Class 1 driver’s licence and be able to drive a manual vehicle (Class 2 advantageous)
