Sr Internal Auditor

About the Role

The Senior Internal Auditor is tasked with planning, executing, and reporting audit activities across various business units, assessing the adequacy of internal controls, the accuracy of reporting, and compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Core duties include performing defined audit procedures, contributing to audit scope planning based on business processes and risk assessments, coordinating audit activities with the audit team and managers, and documenting test procedures and findings. The auditor identifies and reports exceptions and control weaknesses, discusses results with management, recommends corrective actions, and fosters positive relationships with business units and corporate leadership while also supporting the training and development of internal audit staff. Travel by air, car, or other modes may be required up to 40% of the time, and additional duties may be assigned as needed.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications encompass relevant certifications such as CPA, CMA, CIA, CFE, CISA, PMP, or similar, along with two years of audit or accounting experience at a Big 4 or Fortune 500 organization. Familiarity with data‑analytic tools like Diligent, Workiva, ACL, or IDEA is also advantageous. Minimum requirements include two to four years of relevant professional experience.
