About the Role

The Driver/Operator safely operates a heavy‑duty commercial vehicle on swing routes, navigating residential, commercial and construction sites. The role requires adherence to OSHA, DOT and all local, state and federal regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. • Operate the vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and all applicable regulations while keeping it clean and safe. • Complete pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and record any issues. • Immediately report unsafe situations, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage to the Route Manager or Dispatch. • Attend all scheduled training, briefings and meetings as required. • Collaborate with Route Managers to improve route efficiency and address unsafe or problematic accounts. • Perform assigned duties and assist other drivers as directed by Route Manager or Dispatch. • Communicate customer requests, blocked containers, missed pick‑ups, or other route issues to Dispatch or Route Manager. • Dump containers completely, leave the site clean, and position containers upright with lids properly replaced, avoiding blockage of driveways or traffic. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage removal. • Follow daily route assignments and complete all required documentation at the end of the route.

What You Bring

The position involves frequent standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking and hearing, reflecting the varied physical demands of the job. • Hold at least two years of experience operating a CDL‑required vehicle or equivalent recent military driving experience. • Possess a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL), be at least 18 years old, and be legally authorized to work in the country.
