About the Role
• Lead safety policies; conduct daily safety meetings and job safety analyses. • Plan, schedule, and supervise grading, excavation, and underground utility work. • Direct and support field crews in site, road, and subdivision construction. • Perform field layout and coordinate with surveyors and engineers. • Oversee mass grading, material placement, erosion control, and sediment measures. • Inspect job sites for sequencing, productivity, and safety concerns. • Supervise equipment and vehicle use, including daily inspections and basic troubleshooting. • Track employee hours, equipment usage, and job documentation. • Train, coach, and evaluate crew performance; resolve jobsite issues.

Rogers Group is seeking candidates for an Experienced Hourly Foreman for our Site Work Construction Team in Cookeville, TN / Upper Cumberland locations. Rogers Group, Inc., headquartered in Nashville, is a privately held aggregate and asphalt highway construction company operating in 12 states with over 3,500 employees. Established in 1908, RGI is recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States. • Minimum 5 years supervisory experience in grading and site work. • Strong leadership, communication, and safety management skills. • Experience operating heavy construction equipment (preferred). • Ability to read grade stakes, plans, and specifications. • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and all weather conditions.
