About the Role
The role involves designing storage engineering solutions for periodic data‑center, storage, and remote‑site server hardware refreshes, recommending hardware compatible with existing storage technologies, and documenting physical hardware designs including rows, racks, bays, interconnections, power, network, serial numbers, lifecycle, and service information. Engineers also create and document required storage configuration settings, design long‑term storage solutions to satisfy records‑management needs, UU and deliver service‑catalog items that automate storage provisioning as Infrastructure‑as‑Code. Minimum qualifications include a Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility, experience in storage engineering and integration for both physical and virtual infrastructure, and a current DoD 8570.1‑M IAT Level II (Security+ CE) certification. Benefits
The basic compensation range for this Maryland‑based role is $120,000 to $205,000, with the final rate based on the selected candidate’s knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, and internal parity considerations. • Compensation range: $120,000–$205,000 for Maryland location.
