About the Role
Trainees will also master manual and automatic controls for loading, compacting, and disposing of waste, identify unsatisfactory containers, monitor waste for compliance, and keep the vehicle clean and operational to minimize downtime. Once licensed, they will assume all driver responsibilities for their assigned line of business and perform any additional duties as assigned.

What You Bring
During training, trainees must complete Republic Services’ CDL program, pass the state CDL examination, and remain employed for twelve months after licensure. They will learn to perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, report safety issues, and operate a heavy truck safely along assigned routes, following maps and dispatcher instructions.
