About the Role

Each day you’ll service trucks and equipment that support over 20 million customers across the USA, using modern tools and procedures on diesel and, at some locations, CNG trucks. Your work ensures that vehicles leave the shop safely and reliably for the local community. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on various vehicles and equipment. • Estimate time and material costs for repairs and new parts. • Perform work within Standard Labor Repair Times (SRTs) and respond to emergency breakdown service calls. • Conduct safety checks and complete required paperwork documenting parts usage and repair times. • Assist senior mechanics on project work and address repairs identified in Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. • Maintain a clean, safe work area complying with corporate and OSHA standards.

What You Bring

The role may require travel by air; therefore, candidates must possess a REAL ID or an approved alternative to meet federal travel requirements. • Minimum 2 years relevant mechanical experience and a valid driver’s license with a clean record. • Must be at least 18 years old, legally eligible to work in the U.S., and able to pass drug screen and physical. • Ability to meet physical demands: frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, climbing, standing, walking, and occasional sitting; exposure to noise, odors, weather extremes, and chemicals. • Team‑oriented mindset: collaborative, independent when needed, enjoys variety, and solves problems determinedly.
