About the Role

• Encouraging, collaborative team environment • Manage and schedule workload of Systems Engineering Team, prioritizing and coordinating projects • Provide timeframe and cost estimates for project evaluation • Develop, implement, and communicate team processes, strategies, and standards • Identify and apply new operational techniques and improve tools, equipment, and processes • Offer advanced technical support as regional application engineering expert • Lead selection of controllers and devices to meet specs while minimizing installation costs • Evaluate team performance using financial and contract management reports • Build and leverage relationships with customers, consultants, and architects during project development • Maintain high engineering standards and maximize reuse of proven designs • Support network commissioning on assigned projects as needed • Hire, retain, mentor, and manage performance and career development of direct reports • Collaborate with Major Projects and Branch teams to ensure timely delivery of engineering work

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (preferred) and at least five years of application engineering experience • Prior supervision experience of technical/engineering groups • Minimum five years of progressive responsibility in the construction industry • Master’s degree or Professional Engineer registration highly desired • Recognized expert in multiple core engineering competencies • Understanding of accounting principles and cost management • Strong oral and written communication skills, especially for technical presentations
