About the Role

Core duties include floor care such as sweeping, mopping, and operating commercial buffers and shampoo machines, as well as vacuuming rugs in offices and public areas. The Cleaner also dusts furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trims, light fixtures, and performs high dusting, cleans interior glass, windowsills, and interior walls, and maintains bathrooms by restocking supplies, cleaning fixtures, and reporting defects. Additional responsibilities cover trash collection and disposal, snow removal from entrances and walkways, and periodic tasks like leather and wood polishing and wall washing. The Cleaner must be able to work with minimal supervision, follow directions, and function cooperatively as part of a team. • Sweep, mop, and wash floors; operate commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot‑clean and shampoo rugs as directed • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and perform periodic high dusting • Clean interior glass, windowsills, interior doors, partitions, and wash interior walls daily • Clean and restock bathrooms, including wiping glass, emptying waste baskets, servicing soap and toilet paper dispensers, cleaning tiles, stalls, and floors; monitor and report defects • Collect building trash daily, replace liners, and place waste in approved containers for removal • Sweep or shovel snow from building entrances, walkways, and sidewalks as directed • Perform periodic tasks such as leather and wood surface polishing, wall washing, and other duties as assigned
