About the Role

The Assistant Project Manager (Civil) supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing all phases of construction projects, ensuring safe, on‑time delivery within scope, budget, and quality standards. The role involves hands‑on site supervision, contractor coordination, documentation management, and stakeholder communication. Responsibilities include assisting with project schedules, budgets, and execution plans; supervising civil and structural works on‑site; preparing daily progress reports, snag lists and inspection records; supporting quantity take‑offs, cost tracking and procurement; and ensuring adherence to quality, safety and HSE standards. The position also requires regular interaction with clients, consultants and internal teams, preparing meeting minutes, status reports, and supporting project handover and close‑out documentation. • Develop and monitor project schedules, budgets, and execution plans. • Coordinate design consultants, contractors, and vendors to align with timelines. • Supervise civil/structural site works, conduct inspections and ensure quality compliance. • Collaborate with MEP, interior, and finishing teams for integrated execution. • Prepare daily progress reports, snag lists, inspection records, and meeting minutes. • Review contractor submittals, RFIs, material approvals, and track payments. • Perform quantity take‑offs, BOQ verification, and cost tracking. • Support procurement for timely delivery of materials and equipment. • Enforce quality control procedures and construction safety standards. • Follow up on NCRs and quality observations to closure. • Facilitate client and stakeholder communication, project handover, and close‑out documentation.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (master’s preferred), 5–10 years of civil construction or project‑management experience, strong technical knowledge of civil/structural works, proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD and MS Office, and excellent communication and problem‑solving skills. Exposure to large‑scale commercial or IT‑park projects and knowledge of LEED is advantageous. • Strong technical knowledge of civil and structural construction. • Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office. • Excellent project coordination, documentation, and communication abilities. • Experience with large‑scale commercial, industrial or real‑estate projects. • Knowledge of LEED/green building practices (advantageous).
