About the Role
The System Architect is the technical authority for architecture design and both pre- and post-sales support of SMB offers across multiple segments. The role oversees technical governance, risk assessments and GAP analysis, while creating secure, standardized reference architectures that are repeatable and scalable. Key duties include defining proof-of-concept systems, designing customized user interfaces, authoring functional design specifications, FAT and SAT test documents, and maintaining standardization templates. The architect provides technical pre-sales support, product demonstrations, and coordinates the end-to-end delivery of SMB solutions with architects, engineers, developers and IT specialists. The position also involves animating a community of solution and segment architects, sharing best-practice templates, and collaborating with R&D and Offer Management to shape new offerings. Documentation such as technical notes, lessons learned, white papers and specifications are produced and made globally available. • Serve as the technical authority, overseeing governance, risk assessment and gap analysis for SMB solutions. • Build secure, repeatable reference architectures and develop proof-of-concept implementations. • Tailor user-interface designs to specific customer requirements. • Produce functional design specs, FAT/SAT test plans and standardization templates. • Lead technical pre-sales activities, including product demos and solution validation. • Manage the end-to-end delivery of SMB offers in collaboration with architects, engineers and IT specialists. • Facilitate a community of solution and segment architects to share templates and best practices. • Partner with R&D and Offer Management to influence new product offerings.

What You Bring
Essential qualifications include a strong foundation in OT and IT infrastructure, hands-on experience with cloud SaaS and Microsoft Azure, and at least five years of integrated building management system experience (10-15 years overall). Candidates should hold a BEng/BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field, possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and thrive in a collaborative, multicultural environment. • Bring 5+ years of Integrated Building Management system expertise and 10-15 years overall BMS experience. • Demonstrate deep knowledge of OT/IT infrastructure, cloud SaaS and Microsoft Azure services. • Understand subsystems such as power, building automation, EV charging, lighting, fire, security, industrial applications and data analytics. • Hold a BEng/BSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline. • Exhibit strong communication, customer focus and teamwork in multicultural settings.
