About the Role

The role involves maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work area, complying with all safety procedures, and reporting any unsafe conditions to the Production Supervisor. You will handle receipt, stocking, picking, issuing, and delivery of materials, support packers and machine operators, and manage the flow of work to prevent material buildup. Equipment operation, stock control, and record‑keeping are also key components of the position. • Comply with safety procedures and report hazards to the Production Supervisor. • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area. • Receive, stock, pick, issue, and deliver materials per performance guidelines. • Supply packers and machine operators with parts and remove completed items to storage. • Sort, weigh, and coordinate materials while completing purchase and work order paperwork. • Follow department schedules, make deliveries and pickups to maintain workflow and prevent material buildup. • Operate forklift trucks and other material handling equipment; notify supervisor of shortages. • Assist with cycle counts, stock control, and equipment maintenance including safety checks. • Set up workstations and instruct operators on procedures and safety precautions. • Meet production performance standards and ensure product quality meets nVent specifications. • Maintain accurate records and inventory balances. • Participate in continuous improvement activities as a team member.

What You Bring

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, with at least one year of production experience preferred. Experience with RF scanners, Windows Office applications, label‑printing software, and a solid understanding of material flow and safety policies is required. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to adapt to rapid changes and work in a high‑stress environment, are essential. • High school diploma or GED; minimum 1 year production experience preferred. • Experience operating RF scanners and related software. • Proficient with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet, and label‑printing software. • Knowledge of material flow processes and safety policies. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills. • Ability to adapt to rapid business changes and work in high‑stress environments. • Ability to operate picking equipment such as wave lift, tugger truck, carts, and tow motor. • Physical ability to bend, squat, reach, climb stairs or ladders, and lift up to 50 lb.
