About the Role
The Project Manager directs in‑house crews and subcontractors, works directly with customers, and handles bidding and billing. Responsibilities include leading project teams, daily reporting, building processes, conducting weekly meetings, assigning resources, ensuring equipment, and collaborating across fielding, design, and quality control. • Lead internal and external project teams to deliver projects on budget and schedule. • Communicate daily updates to customers and internal management. • Build processes and assemble teams to meet project requirements. • Conduct weekly client and project team meetings. • Assign resources and direct task completion. • Submit completed projects for billing and approve timesheets and daily logs. • Ensure equipment availability for project execution. • Collaborate with managers across fielding, design, and QC functions. • Evaluate team performance and implement improvement plans. • Develop productivity tools and generate reports for supervisors.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates possess solid knowledge of aerial and underground telecommunications, OSP fiber engineering, and at least three years of OSP engineering project experience. They are proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, schedule management, have strong problem‑solving and communication skills, and hold safety training and OSHA knowledge. A high‑school diploma or equivalent is required. • Solid knowledge of aerial and underground telecom OSP and fiber engineering. • Three+ years OSP engineering project experience. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and schedule management. • Strong problem‑solving, hands‑on work style, and ability to read workprints. • Excellent written and verbal communication; can convey progress and recommendations. • Safety training and OSHA compliance. • High school diploma or equivalent.
