About the Role

The role operates a crawler or rubber‑tired machine equipped with a loader bucket to load structures, dirt, trucks, pipe, and precast concrete from excavations. Operators must perform pre‑job inspections of oil, water, fuel, tires, and hydraulic systems, conduct safety and maintenance checks, and ensure the equipment is in proper operating condition before departure. They operate the machine by starting engines, controlling throttles, switches, levers, and pedals, and signal truck drivers to position for loading or unloading. They also take actions to avoid hazards such as utility lines, other equipment, and falling objects, and perform routine maintenance like oiling, greasing, and adjustments while maintaining a professional appearance and adhering to company safety policies. • Inspect oil, water, fuel, tires, and hydraulic systems before each shift. • Conduct safety and maintenance checks on assigned equipment. • Operate the machine by starting engines and controlling throttles, switches, levers, and pedals. • Signal truck drivers to position trucks for loading or unloading material. • Identify and avoid hazards such as utility lines, other equipment, and falling objects. • Perform routine maintenance including oiling, greasing, and adjustments. • Maintain a professional appearance and follow company safety policies.
