About the Role

• Lead ILS planning and execution across Defence domains, coordinating with acquisition and sustainment teams. • Manage logistics operations, including supply chain coordination, storage, distribution, and liaison with suppliers and Commonwealth stakeholders. • Provide expert ILS guidance using first‑principles asset management, reviewing contract deliverables, and recommending improvements or corrective actions. • Identify and mitigate support risks, develop local procedures, monitor work practices, and support transition of responsibilities to sustainment. • Contribute to critical Defence projects that protect Australia and shape its future. • Work for an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion, encouraging applications from all backgrounds.

What You Bring

Applicants must currently hold and be able to maintain a Negative Vetting 1 (NV1) or higher security clearance. In some cases, compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) may also be required. • Communicate and collaborate effectively, sharing knowledge with project teams, influencing blended workforces, and balancing competing priorities while adhering to Defence values. • Proven ILS or supply chain management experience in a Defence environment. • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage and influence stakeholders. • Expertise in ILS, asset and data management of Defence inventory. • Ability to interpret policies and procedures to provide guidance and solutions. • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Current Negative Vetting 1 (or higher) security clearance and ability to maintain clearance; compliance with ITAR where required. • Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
