About the Role
The Mobile Maintenance Mechanic performs both preventative and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment and systems across assigned facilities. This role assists senior mechanics while independently handling defined tasks, and includes inspections and repairs of interior and exterior areas such as walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting to ensure optimal operations and client satisfaction. Typical duties include cleaning HVAC coils, changing filters and belts, and maintaining plumbing components like toilets, urinals, and water heaters. The mechanic also repairs locks, doors, and furniture, documents fire extinguisher status, and prepares, primes, and paints interior and exterior surfaces. Special tasks such as locksmith work, tenant service requests, and general handyman projects are performed, while all work orders are prioritized and updated in real time using the Maximo CMMS system. • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems. • Clean HVAC coils, replace filters and belts, and service plumbing fixtures. • Repair locks, doors, closers, and furniture across facilities. • Document fire extinguisher inspections and maintain building system compliance. • Prepare, prime, and paint interior and exterior surfaces; handle general handyman tasks. • Respond to special tasks such as locksmith work, tenant service requests, and emergency repairs. • Prioritize and update work orders in real time using Maximo CMMS.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are a high‑school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience or training in carpentry, electrical, and plumbing work. Candidates must be proficient with hand and power tools, basic computer applications such as MS Office and Outlook, and the Maximo CMMS platform. Physical ability to lift up to 80 lb, climb ladders up to 30 ft, and work in adverse conditions is also required. Preferred qualifications include an EPA Universal License, experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), and preventative maintenance experience on HVAC equipment. The position covers Louisville, KY and surrounding areas, operates during standard business hours with on‑call availability, and does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Lift up to 80 lb, climb ladders up to 30 ft, and work in extreme temperatures. • Hold a high‑school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of carpentry/electrical/plumbing experience. • Use hand and power tools proficiently and operate basic MS Office applications. • Preferred: EPA Universal License and experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS).
