About the Role
The Senior Electrical Engineer role is remote and focuses on designing complex power and building systems, including generator plants, medium‑voltage distribution, UPS, lighting, fire alarm, and grounding. The position involves both independent work and teamwork across multi‑disciplinary project teams, as well as interaction with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders. • Design electrical systems for lighting, receptacles, general, essential, and critical infrastructure. • Plan and execute engineering tasks independently or within a team. • Support design and construction phases independently. • Lead electrical design for complex projects. • Develop drawings and specifications for architects, contractors, and owners. • Participate in client meetings and discussions. • Mentor and coach entry‑level and junior engineers. • Coordinate with internal team members, vendors, and manufacturers. • Communicate complex engineering concepts to clients and stakeholders. • Integrate electrical requirements into facility designs. • Maintain and develop client relationships. • Lead meetings with internal and external stakeholders. • Research and recommend key components for designs. • Create equipment room layouts, floor plans, and one‑line diagrams. • Schedule equipment installations. • Prepare short‑circuit, coordination, and arc‑flash calculations. • Perform construction administration tasks. • Survey and evaluate existing conditions.

What You Bring
• Demonstrate deep understanding of kW MCE engineering services. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering with an electrical building systems focus. • Possess 5+ years of experience designing electrical systems for high‑performance commercial, industrial, or mission‑critical/data‑center facilities. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, teamwork, and written/ verbal communication skills. • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, eTap or Cyme software. • Knowledgeable of building, electrical, and energy codes. • Able to organize and present design information to project staff. • Detail‑oriented, highly organized, self‑starter with ability to travel to project sites. • Preferred: EIT or PE licensure. • Preferred: Experience with short‑circuit, coordination, and arc‑flash analysis. • Preferred: Design of reliable medium and low voltage infrastructure. • Preferred: Mission‑critical/data‑center and international project experience.
