About the Role

The Safety Inspector will implement Parsons’ HSE policy, plan, and relevant legislation while monitoring performance and suggesting improvements. Responsibilities include reviewing hazard analyses, risk assessments, job safety plans, and work method statements, as well as conducting site inspections, monthly safety meetings, and reporting findings to the Resident Engineer. The inspector will also review emergency preparedness, permit‑to‑work systems, toolbox talks, and contractor incident investigations to ensure corrective actions are taken. • Implement and monitor Parsons HSE policy, plan, and legislation, proposing improvements. • Review and enforce hazard analyses, risk assessments, job safety plans, and work method statements on site. • Conduct regular site inspections, monthly safety meetings, and forward minutes for follow‑up. • Evaluate contractors’ safety performance, monthly HSE inspections, and ensure compliance with best practices. • Oversee emergency preparedness, permit‑to‑work systems, toolbox talks, and HSE statistics. • Investigate contractor incidents, communicate lessons learned, and verify corrective actions.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a B.Sc. or equivalent degree in environmental, loss‑prevention, or a related engineering discipline and have at least five years of health‑and‑safety experience on infrastructure projects. Relevant UAE certifications such as ISO, NEBOSH, First Aid, or Fire Safety are required, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred candidates have experience working in an engineering consulting firm, possess UAE project experience, and hold a driving license.
