About the Role

The Environmental Engineering Intern will join the EHS Compliance team in Houston, TX, where they will research, design, plan, and execute engineering tasks related to the prevention, control, and remediation of environmental hazards, including waste treatment, site remediation, and pollution control technologies. The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring three days per week in the office to foster collaboration and learning. • Collect and analyze data, producing accurate reports in standard formats. • Create engineering drawings under senior guidance to communicate solutions. • Contribute to design and feasibility testing of engineering solutions. • Follow HSE policies, identify and mitigate environmental and safety risks, and instruct the team on safe practices. • Research and recommend technical improvements for websites, portals, or software. • Develop personal capabilities through training, conferences, and self‑education. • Conduct research to support team projects. • Develop testing standards and procedures. • Assist with project management activities. • Support waste management, including reduction, segregation, storage, transport, and disposal. • Perform routine technical troubleshooting and basic diagnostics.
