What You Bring
We currently have multiple positions available for Full Time Senior Security Officers to join the team at The Royal Children’s Hospital. You will be responsible for providing a safe and secure environment for all staff and visitors to sites. Reporting to the Security Team Leader, you'll help deliver high‑quality outcomes that support our essential services in a high‑pressure environment. You must be flexible to work a variety of shifts on a 4‑days‑on (2 days, 2 nights) and 4‑days‑off roster. The position requires a Certificate III in Security Operations, a current Victorian Security Licence, Control Room Operator and Monitoring Centre endorsements, a Working with Children Check and a Victorian driver’s licence. Candidates need at least two years of senior security experience, including control‑room work and crowd‑control at mass‑gathering events, together with strong knowledge of alarm, CCTV and building automation systems and solid written and verbal communication skills. Knowledge of workplace health and safety, customer service practices and the ability to work effectively in a team are also essential.
