About the Role

The Document Controller role, based in Glasgow, forms part of a dynamic project team delivering high‑profile construction initiatives. The position involves supporting meetings, managing design information approvals, monitoring project records, and contributing to site visits under the Considerate Constructors Scheme. Key duties include attending project‑specific meetings to record minutes, initiating and controlling review processes for design data within the online Common Data Environment, and ensuring all project correspondence complies with company policies. Additional responsibilities cover compiling handover documentation, performing general project administration, and providing holiday and sickness cover for fellow document controllers. • Attend project meetings and produce meeting records. • Initiate and manage design information review and approval in the Common Data Environment. • Monitor and document control project records and correspondence per company policies. • Support the Considerate Constructors Scheme with site visits. • Coordinate compilation of project handover documentation. • Perform general project administration tasks. • Provide holiday and sickness cover for other document controllers.

What You Bring

Ideal candidates have prior administration experience in a busy office or site setting, strong IT proficiency with Microsoft Office, and a full UK driving licence. They must be able to work independently while maintaining meticulous attention to detail, demonstrate excellent organisational, multitasking and prioritisation abilities, and possess strong communication and problem‑solving skills. Experience with Common Data Environment systems such as Autodesk, Asite or Viewpoint is desirable. • Previous administration experience in a busy office or site environment. • Strong IT skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office. • Full UK driving licence. • Ability to work unsupervised while maintaining high attention to detail. • Excellent organisational, multitasking and prioritisation abilities. • Strong communication and problem‑solving skills. • Experience with CDE systems (e.g., Autodesk, Asite, Viewpoint) is desirable.
