CNC Machinist II, 2nd shift
Operate CNC machines, set up tooling, program, inspect parts, and maintain records.
Job Highlights
About the Role
• Follow process sheets, blueprints, setup cards, machine status boards, and verbal/written instructions. • Machine, install, or re‑cut chuck jaws as needed. • Insert and secure tooling in machine turrets and perform machine set‑ups. • Download, upload, and adjust CNC programs. • Operate CNC machines to produce parts within tight tolerances. • Inspect own work for dimensional accuracy, maintain quality standards, document results, and inspect other machinists’ work. • Operate multiple machines and rotate between departments as required. • Enter data into the ERP system. • Load and unload components weighing up to 25 lb.

What You Bring
• Proficient with CNC lathe, CNC mill, or resistance spot welder (any two) and able to set up machines. • High school diploma or equivalent experience. • Reliable attendance with minimal call‑offs. • Minimum two years of related machining experience and knowledge of CNC principles. • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations. • Able to read and interpret English work instructions and blueprints. • Pass a machinist test measuring mechanical aptitude.
