Job Highlights
About the Role
• Lead end‑to‑end cost management across all project phases for hyperscale data centre programs. • Develop and maintain detailed cost plans, estimates and forecasts using benchmarks and technical data. • Manage change control, negotiate change orders and ensure robust commercial governance. • Review contractor and subcontractor pricing, validate scope and shape procurement strategy. • Integrate cost forecasts with project schedules and deliver monthly cost reports and executive summaries. • Interface with clients, stakeholders and consultants, maintaining strong relationships throughout the project. • Conduct cost risk analysis, scenario planning and monitor market trends for pricing and labor. • Drive cost optimisation and value‑engineering to reduce lifecycle costs. • Set and track KPIs, prepare presentations for senior leadership and manage financial performance via internal systems. • Implement Business Management Systems and improve cost‑management processes, templates and tools. • Lead, mentor and develop junior staff, fostering a high‑performance collaborative culture. • Support business development by building market knowledge, identifying opportunities and participating in proposals.

What You Bring
The Associate Director – Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor will lead cost management on a large‑scale, mission‑critical data centre programme. This client‑facing leadership role requires exceptional communication, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels, and strategic direction that embeds the firm’s purpose, values and vision throughout the project lifecycle. • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related field; graduate degree preferred. • 8–10+ years of cost management or project controls experience on large‑scale, mission‑critical construction projects. • Proven client‑facing delivery experience in construction consultancy. • Strong understanding of MEP systems, resilience requirements and campus‑scale infrastructure. • Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, cost control, Earned Value Management and procurement. • Proficiency with CostX, Oracle, Excel, Primavera or equivalent cost‑management tools. • RICS accreditation or progress toward certification is highly desirable. • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation and stakeholder‑management skills. • Strong analytical, problem‑solving abilities and ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
