About the Role

The engineer will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team—engineers, program managers, and product line managers—to create world‑class life‑safety products. Responsibilities include translating market requirements into design concepts, producing detailed drawings and specifications, and analyzing designs for feasibility, cost, vibration, stress, fluid flow, and heat transfer. The role also involves directing prototype development, planning and executing test programs, analyzing test data to refine designs, and ensuring manufacturing efficiency. Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and test standards is essential, as is preparing reports and presentations.

The role is for a hands‑on Mechanical Engineer on the Special Hazards Fire Suppression New Product Introduction team at the R&D facility in Marinette, WI, focusing on design, development, testing, and certification of fire protection products for Engineered Systems and Foam Hardware portfolios. This on‑site position requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency and does not offer visa sponsorship. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and have at least two years of experience in mechanical product development, fire protection engineering, or a related field.
