About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for designing and developing electric‑powered products and electrical systems for both gas‑ and lithium‑battery‑driven equipment. You will create wiring harnesses, system diagrams and specifications, co‑author test plans, and produce electrical specifications and component drawings for timely release. You will interpret test results, generate written test reports, and work with the Compliance and EMC departments to ensure products meet global safety and electromagnetic compatibility standards such as ANSI, ISO and UL. Additionally, you will set up and conduct performance and durability tests, propose design solutions, and collaborate closely with lab technicians and fellow engineers to troubleshoot and improve testing processes. • Design and develop electric‑powered products and electrical systems for outdoor equipment. • Create wiring harnesses, system diagrams, specifications, and co‑author test plans. • Draft electrical specifications and component drawings for timely release. • Interpret test results, evaluate data, and produce written test reports. • Collaborate with Compliance and EMC teams to meet global safety and EMC standards. • Set up and conduct performance, durability, and material tests on components and assemblies. • Propose design solutions and support engineering and design teams. • Work closely with lab technicians and engineers to troubleshoot testing procedures. • Use measurement and diagnostic devices to evaluate electronics and circuits. • Maintain thorough documentation and excellent organizational habits. • Participate in a diverse, inclusive culture with opportunities for career growth across 20+ brands. • Engage in volunteerism, sustainability initiatives, and community impact programs.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate holds a BS in Electrical Engineering, has 0‑5 years of consumer‑product design experience, and demonstrates strong design, project‑management and teamwork abilities. Proficiency with measurement and diagnostic equipment, as well as engineering tools like Unigraphics, Teamcenter and Arcadia, along with excellent documentation and organizational habits, are required. This position does not qualify for visa sponsorship. • Hold a BS in Electrical Engineering with 0‑5 years of consumer‑product design experience. • Demonstrate strong design, project‑management, teamwork, and proactive research skills. • Proficient with Unigraphics, Teamcenter, and Arcadia engineering design tools.
