About the Role
The VP will develop and execute region‑specific infrastructure strategies, identify high‑value opportunities, and build strategic alliances with governments, multilateral agencies, and private investors. Thought leadership will be provided on regional trends, regulatory environments, and socio‑economic drivers affecting infrastructure development. Leadership of large‑scale civil infrastructure programs—such as transportation networks, urban development, and water systems—will involve ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards, and implementing best‑in‑class project controls, risk management, and governance frameworks. In the nuclear arena, the VP will drive planning and execution of civil nuclear facilities, oversee compliance with IAEA and local regulatory frameworks, and establish robust safety, emergency preparedness, and cybersecurity measures. Responsibilities also include procurement of nuclear‑grade materials, workforce training and certification, and promotion of advanced technologies like Small Modular Reactors. Senior‑level relationships with government ministries, regulators, and private sector leaders will be cultivated to serve as a trusted advisor on infrastructure trends, energy transition, and nuclear development strategies. The VP will also lead, mentor, and develop a high‑performing leadership team across multiple geographies, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and accountability aligned with KBR’s OneKBR philosophy. • Shape and execute infrastructure strategies for the Global South’s civil and nuclear sectors. • Identify and secure high‑value transportation, energy, and water projects. • Forge strategic alliances with governments, multilateral agencies, and private investors. • Lead delivery of large‑scale civil infrastructure programs ensuring compliance and sustainability. • Direct planning and execution of civil nuclear facilities, adhering to IAEA and local regulations. • Establish nuclear safety, emergency preparedness, and cybersecurity systems. • Manage procurement of nuclear‑grade materials with integrity and traceability. • Build senior‑level relationships with ministries, regulators, and industry leaders. • Mentor and develop a multi‑geography leadership team aligned with KBR’s OneKBR culture.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Nuclear Engineering, or a related field (master’s preferred), with at least 20 years of infrastructure delivery experience and a minimum of 10 years in executive leadership roles. Proven success in civil and nuclear projects in emerging markets, deep knowledge of regulatory and safety standards, strong commercial acumen, and professional certifications such as PMP, RICS, or nuclear safety credentials are highly desirable. • Hold a bachelor’s (master’s preferred) in engineering with ≥20 years infrastructure experience, including ≥10 years executive leadership. • Possess professional certifications (e.g., PMP, RICS, nuclear safety) and strong commercial acumen.
