About the Role
The role involves professionally servicing HVAC equipment and accessories according to manufacturer specifications and local codes. You will ensure safe operation of new installations and instruct customers on proper care and maintenance. Building positive customer relationships, promoting additional Reliance products and services, and solving problems to ensure satisfaction are also key responsibilities. • Service HVAC equipment and accessories per manufacturer specs and local codes. • Ensure safe operation of installations and instruct customers on maintenance. • Build positive customer relationships and promote additional Reliance products and services. • Work rotating shifts and standby duties as required. • Maintain company vehicle to a clean and safe standard and wear the provided uniform.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least a Grade 12 education, a Gas Technician II license, a Certificate of Qualification as an Air‑Conditioning Mechanic (Ontario 313d), a valid ODP card, and a Class G driver’s licence. Three to five years of field experience with water heaters and HVAC equipment is preferred. The role requires rotating shifts, standby duties, physical capability to lift 15 kg, and the ability to work in various weather conditions. The ideal applicant demonstrates strong interpersonal, problem‑solving, and customer‑service skills, communicates clearly in writing and verbally, and shows a growth mindset, punctuality, and dependability. Ability to learn new technologies such as electronics/electrical, willingness to wear the company‑provided uniform, and maintaining the company vehicle to clean and safe standards are essential. • Lift up to 15 kg, perform frequent bending, squatting/kneeling, and work in all weather conditions. • Hold a Gas Technician II license, C of Q (Ontario 313d) Air‑Conditioning Mechanic certificate, valid ODP card, and Class G driver’s licence. • Possess 3–5 years of field experience with water heaters and HVAC equipment (preferred). • Demonstrate strong problem‑solving, interpersonal, and customer‑service skills. • Communicate clearly in written and verbal form. • Exhibit a growth mindset, punctuality, and dependability. • Ability to learn new technologies such as electronics/electrical.
