About the Role

The Production Leader at AAON is responsible for coordinating daily team activities to ensure smooth production processes, adherence to quality standards, and compliance with safety protocols. Key duties include leading and assigning tasks to workers, mentoring the team to maximize productivity, collaborating with management to meet production targets, allocating resources such as labor, equipment, and materials, and monitoring quality control while addressing any issues that arise. The role also involves conducting safety training and audits, recommending improvements, identifying opportunities for process optimization, implementing changes to boost efficiency, maintaining accurate inventory levels, and generating regular performance reports for management. • Complete AAON’s Production Leader Program. • Lead and assign tasks to production team members. • Mentor and motivate staff to boost productivity and quality. • Collaborate with management to meet production targets. • Allocate labor, equipment, and materials per production plan. • Enforce quality control standards and resolve issues promptly. • Conduct safety training, audits, and recommend improvements. • Identify and implement process optimizations for efficiency. • Maintain accurate inventory of raw materials and finished goods. • Generate and present performance reports on productivity, quality, and efficiency. • Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 50 lb and working in varied, extreme conditions.

What You Bring

Candidates should possess a high school diploma or GED, with at least three years of production or manufacturing experience, strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations, excellent communication and problem‑solving skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office and production management software, and the ability to obtain and maintain a 608 universal refrigerant certification. The position requires physical capabilities such as lifting up to 50 lb, standing and performing repetitive tasks, and working in environments with extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, chemical fumes, and heavy forklift traffic. It is a safety‑sensitive job subject to drug and alcohol testing. • Meet education requirement: high school diploma/GED with 3 years production experience. • Obtain and maintain 608 universal refrigerant certification. • Demonstrate strong communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and production management software.
