About the Role

As Senior Development Manager, you will lead Clarion’s residential and mixed‑use development portfolio, guiding a high‑performing team to execute the company’s development strategy. You will be accountable for delivering strong commercial outcomes, ensuring operational performance, and fostering innovative, compliant design solutions that align with business and regulatory requirements. The role also carries strategic financial responsibility, including budget management, risk assessment, and financial modelling to support business planning and KPI achievement. You will drive accountability across projects and provide insight that informs senior‑level decisions and value‑for‑money outcomes. • Lead Clarion’s residential and mixed‑use development portfolio. • Manage and develop a high‑performing project team. • Deliver commercial outcomes and meet key performance indicators. • Oversee operational performance and ensure compliance with design and regulatory standards. • Provide strategic financial leadership, including budgeting, risk management and financial modelling. • Drive accountability and foster innovative design solutions across projects. • Conduct stakeholder engagement and represent the development programme. • Access Clarion’s employee benefits, wellbeing programmes and diversity initiatives.

What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced residential development professional with a solid background in master planning and place creation. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership and stakeholder management abilities, a creative and commercial mindset, and a relevant degree or equivalent experience; professional qualifications such as RICS, RTPI, or CIOB are desirable. • Demonstrate proven experience in residential development and master planning. • Exhibit strong leadership, stakeholder management and a creative, commercial mindset. • Hold a relevant degree or equivalent professional experience; professional membership such as RICS, RTPI or CIOB is desirable.

Benefits

The position is based in Greater London House, London, offering a permanent contract with a salary range of £100,044 to £125,055 plus a £5,000 car allowance. It is a 36‑hour flexible week, with a hybrid model requiring three days a week in the London office and occasional site visits.
