What You Bring
We currently have an opportunity for a full‑time Security Guard. Reporting to the Security Supervisor, our front‑of‑house security staff are the face of Downer and play a pivotal role in delivering the service commitment we have made to our clients. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic, achieve the highest level of safety and quality of work, and have a genuine passion for excellent customer service. Successful candidates will undergo a pre‑employment medical, national police check, reference checks, VEVO check and employment verification. • Australian citizenship is required. • Hold a current Defence Security Clearance or be able to obtain one. • Possess an NSW or ACT Security Licence (or obtain before start). • Hold a Certificate II in Security Operations (or obtain before start). • Prior experience in the security industry is preferred. • Hold a current NSW or ACT driver’s licence. • Ability to work a rotating roster. • Demonstrate strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to high‑quality outcomes.
