About the Role

The senior developer will collaborate with engineers, analysts, and other developers to devise creative solutions, share expertise in software development, signal processing, and data analytics, and steer the technical direction of projects. Responsibilities include mentoring junior staff, producing high‑quality Python and C/C++ code on Linux, and using tools such as AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and machine‑learning libraries to enhance capabilities. The role also involves testing, performance optimization, regular stakeholder updates, and integrating emerging technologies to ensure reliable, scalable solutions for the warfighter. What You Bring

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s or advanced degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field and possess at least eight years of software design and development experience, including five years with Python and C/C++ and seven years in a Linux environment. A current Top‑Secret SCI clearance with polygraph is required. Proficiency with Git or comparable version‑control systems is essential. Preferred qualifications include experience with X‑Midas, OpenCV, AWS, Keras, Qt/PyQt, Android, and digital signal processing, as well as expertise in geolocation techniques such as T/FDOA. Familiarity with machine‑learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow), containerization (Docker), Kubernetes, GitLab CI/CD, and high‑performance computing (CUDA/GPU, parallel processing) is highly valued. An active TS/SCI clearance is preferred but not mandatory if the required clearance is already held.
