About the Role

The Community Manager oversees all aspects of a housing community’s operations—including personnel, leasing, maintenance, financials, administration and risk management—under the Regional Manager’s supervision, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards and fair‑housing regulations. • Supervise on‑site staff: hire, train, coach, schedule, and address performance issues. • Drive net operating income through cost control, revenue enhancement, and leasing strategies. • Develop and manage annual operating budgets, forecasts, and rent/expense reconciliations. • Create and execute yearly marketing plans and resident‑retention programs; oversee leasing and move‑ins. • Resolve resident complaints to maintain high satisfaction levels. • Lead property emergency response team and ensure compliance with safety, fair‑housing, and liability guidelines. • Oversee maintenance operations, conduct property inspections, manage vendors, and ensure timely repairs. • Maintain accurate administrative and leasing reports; ensure timely submission of financial data. • Ensure adherence to Fair Housing Laws, OSHA standards, and company policies. • Meet physical demands such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb, and responding to after‑hours emergencies. • Maintain reliable transportation for on‑call emergency responsibilities.
