About the Role
The Floor Technician works Monday through Friday from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM under the supervision of the Custodial Manager or Supervisor at C&W Services. The role involves performing a variety of custodial duties in accordance with established standards, instructions, and procedures. Primary responsibilities include cleaning floors, surfaces, and furniture throughout the building. The technician uses both light and heavy commercial floor buffers, shampoo machines, and portable vacuum cleaners to maintain a clean and safe environment. Additional tasks cover window and glass cleaning, bathroom sanitation and supply replenishment, trash collection and liner replacement, and snow removal from entrances and walkways. Periodic duties such as high dusting, leather and wood polishing, and wall washing are also required. • Sweep, mop, and wash interior floors and other surfaces. • Operate commercial floor buffers and shampoo machines with attachments. • Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean and shampoo rugs as directed. • Dust furniture, exhibit cases, picture frames, chairs, door trim, light fixtures, and perform periodic high dusting. • Clean interior windowsills, glass doors, partitions, and specified windows. • Sanitize bathrooms, restock paper supplies, and monitor fixtures for defects. • Collect building trash daily and replace liners in waste containers. • Sweep or shovel snow from building entrances and walkways as needed. • Perform periodic tasks such as leather and wood surface polishing, wall washing, and high dusting. • Follow directions, work with minimal supervision, and contribute to team efforts.

Benefits
