About the Role

The AE will achieve and exceed sales targets and key performance indicators set by Interior Logic Group leadership while leveraging Salesforce.com to track, convert, and contract new opportunities. Responsibilities include developing strong relationships with existing accounts, builders, contractors, and key stakeholders, conducting quarterly business reviews, managing pricing actions, preparing bids and professional sales presentations, and negotiating terms to close deals. The role also requires staying current on industry developments, market trends, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities, as well as collaborating with internal teams such as Design Consultants and Production Managers. • Achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs set by leadership. • Utilize Salesforce.com to manage leads, opportunities, and contracts. • Build and maintain strong relationships with builders, contractors, and key stakeholders. • Conduct quarterly business reviews and report revenue progress. • Prepare bids, take‑offs, change orders, and professional sales presentations. • Negotiate pricing and terms to close deals and meet gross‑margin goals. • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities. • Collaborate with internal teams such as Design Consultants and Production Managers. • Manage pricing actions, product expansion, and merchandising assortments. • Assist builders in adopting ILG proprietary design software. • Maintain targeted gross‑margin percentages and branch profitability.

What You Bring

A college diploma or equivalent is required, along with a proven track record of 3‑5 years of outside B2B sales success, preferably selling to single‑family builders. Knowledge of construction, building materials, or manufacturing is highly desirable, as is the ability to read blueprints and understand builder floor plans. The candidate must demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, organizational, and forecasting skills, be self‑motivated, and be proficient in CRM software (Salesforce preferred) and the Microsoft Office suite. • Require 3‑5 years B2B sales experience, preferably to single‑family builders. • Prefer knowledge of construction, building materials, and blueprint reading. • Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, organization, and forecasting skills. • Proficient in CRM (Salesforce preferred), PowerPoint, Excel, and Microsoft Office suite.
