About the Role
Each day you will service trucks and equipment that support more than 20 million customers nationwide, using modern tools and procedures to maintain diesel and, at some locations, CNG fleets. The role includes inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of systems, estimating repair costs, responding to emergency breakdowns, completing paperwork, and maintaining a clean, OSHA‑compliant work area. • Inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on various vehicles • Estimate time and material costs and work within Standard Labor Repair Times • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls and perform safety checks • Complete repair documentation, parts usage logs, and driver vehicle inspection reports • Assist senior mechanics on project work and maintain a clean, OSHA‑compliant shop
